Mountain Climb

#MountainClimb Players decided to follow Sparky to Keegan Velryn.
#MountainClimb Keegan tells of how Garret Velryn was on expedition to Kelvin's Cairn with Sparky to recover body of Oobok for Hruna and Garn the Hammer. Sparky's return can only mean bad things. Keegan says the party left from Caer Konig. Offers to connect Party to Owenn Tarsenal at the Targos#Luskan Arms. He is also a skrimshander and will share his art.
#MountainClimb Merken attempts to cast speak to animals on Sparky but it fizzles. He discerns that Sparky may be more than he appears.
#MountainClimb Players walked along North ridge of Dwarven Valley. They encounters Arveiturace feeding on a polar bear. They kept their distance until she flew away.
#MountainClimb Players found dogs harnessed to the sled at the foot of the mountain. Under the sled is food. They get fed from remaining crate. They begin the climb. Players saw some mountain goats. Tried to sneak past them. Despite best efforts, the goats are not spooked.
#MountainClimb There is one small area where an avalanche could happen. layers took vast precautions to avoid avalanche and succeeded with thaumaturgy to shake the ground enough to dislodge the snow pack.
#MountainClimb Players found Garret Velryn injured but alive. Orion cast cure wounds on him. He sits up gasping. Traumatized by yeti attacks. Came up with three companions. Wants us to go get his friends.
#MountainClimb Players ambushed by two crag cats. Bardley used faerie fire to give the party advantage. Defeated one crag cat with poison spray and epic stab. Orion critical hits one of the cats, pushing the sword through the mouth, and slightly out the butt. The other cat fled. Merken collected crag cat tooth.
#MountainClimb Climbed up perilous slope, failing one time until Orion started helping Merken climb.
